Angolan cement producer Cimenfort will launch a cement plant – with the capacity to produce 350 tonnes per year – at the Fútila Industrial Complex in Cabinda, Angola this year.

">Chairman of Cimenfort’s board of directors, Paul Heng, said in a statement that the Cabinda plant would be installed in an area of 51 hectares and would eliminate the need for the country to import cement from its neighbours.

">Angola´s annual cement production currently totals 8 million tonnes.
