MACS' new fleet on track

THE UPGRADING of MACS' multi-purpose fleet on the SA - Europe run is on track with the first of three new vessels currently being built in the Far East scheduled to join the service later this year.

They will be named the Amber Lagoon, Purple Beach and Grey Fox, all 34 500 dwt vessels, with 1900 teu capacity, and a speed of 17,5 knots.
