MACS adds direct Lisbon call

MARITIME CARRIER Shipping will add a direct Lisbon call to its multi-purpose Southern Africa - Europe service effective from the sailing of the Green Cape 9923 from Durban on April 25.
The line's European calls will in future include Lisbon, Rotterdam, Immingham, Hamburg and Antwerp.
We have always offered a transhipment service to Lisbon via Rotterdam. MACS' Markus Popken told FTW. There has
however been sufficient demand from our customers to warrant the direct option.
MACS offers a 14-day transit from Cape Town to Lisbon.
