Latest report on dredging at the Port of Durban

A report from the dredging section of Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) revealed that, in the last week of May, the dredger Impisi dredged Berths 107-108, 109-200 and IV5, while the Ilembe dredged Berth 104, the entrance channel and the N-0 Basin, and on reclamation of the area for the Port Festival.

The contracted Subtech dredgers arrived in the port and began dredging at IV5 on Monday, June 6.

Meantime, the other TNPA dredgers, Italeni and Isandlwana, are currently working in the Port of Richards Bay.
