On 08 May the South African Revenue Service (Sars) announced the publication of the International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (Itac) Value-added Tax (VAT) Rebate Item 412.11 list of “CRITICAL MEDICAL SUPPLIES (version 3)” to include a revised classification of plastic face shields from 3926.20.20 to 3926.90.43.
