Hexagon Bolts Safeguard Duty Amendment

On 18 December 2020, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) announced the retrospective substitution of the provision for safeguard duty on other bolts with hexagon heads of iron or steel (excluding bolt ends, screw studs and screw studding), classifiable under tariff subheading 7318.15.43, to 31.8%.

The amendment is effective from 18 December 2020 up to and including 31 May 2021.
