The Department of Trade and Industry (dti) will host a Trade and Investment Symposium to be attended by a business delegation from China’s Zhejiang Province on May 8 (Monday), according to a statement released by the department yesterday.
The Chinese delegation will be led by economic and trade organisation, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the event will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Sandton.
“The symposium is another platform to strengthen bilateral trade relations with China,” said trade and industry minister, Rob Davies. “It will provide businesspeople from both countries with the opportunity for dialogues, business opportunities and sharing of ideas and information.”
