Wine logistics specialist

JF Hillebrand is set to

expand its reach in the

beverage sector and

this requires a strong presence in the

Gauteng market.

The Stellenbosch-headquartered

company, already active in the

Cape beverage sector, has firm

development plans for Gauteng.

“We have specialised in wine and

spirits, but as an addition to our

current portfolio we are developing

the same expertise in the beverage

sector in Gauteng,” said managing

director Marliese Martin.

She said a number of options

were available to the company in the

development of its Gauteng presence.

“It is crucial to the success of

any endeavour that the business

fully understands the nature of the

market it is entering – and that is

where we are at the moment when

it comes to the Gauteng beverage

market,” she said.

Whilst the company already

has representation in the area it is

now about growing and developing

that in the most strategic way. “We

expect to see brand association in

Gauteng grow.”

JF Hillebrand hopes to

increase its footprint through

this new strategy. The company

has a reputation for developing

partnerships based on a mutual

understanding of the client’s

business needs, said Martin who

believes that the Gauteng beverage

sector will benefit from the

company’s expertise.

“Our global footprint also ensures

effective and on-time international

information, knowledge and

services,” she said.
