CMA CGM and 007 are an unlikely match, but the 25th James Bond film, ‘No time to die’, has created a starring role for the French line.
It was filmed at the company’s Kingston Container Terminal in Jamaica and features an action sequence with a seaplane and the vessel CMA CGM Fort Saint Georges when Bond is rescued from the ocean.
The 2260-TEU vessel, along with the 3504-TEU CMA CGM Fort de France and more than 1000 containers, were mobilised for the shoot. In addition, a dozen crew, including the Master, took part in the filming.
The film stars Daniel Craig, who returns for his fifth and final role as Ian Fleming's James Bond.
