Foodex Japan 2019 - Invitation to Attend

The Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) has invited participation in Foodex Japan 2019, which is scheduled from 05 to 08 March 2019. Applications are due by 08 October.

Th event will showcase a full range of products for food and drinks from around the world. Products can include confectionery, dairy products, delicatessen, frozen food products, fruits and vegetables, herbs and spices, ingredients, meat and meat products, food oils, ready-made noodles and pasta, organic products, seafood, seasonings and condiments. Beverages can include beer, brandy, liqueurs, spirits, whiskey, wine, coffee and tea, mineral water, fruit juice and soft drinks.

The dti will offer the following financial support to qualifying firms: (i) Exhibition space and booth rental costs, (ii) Freight forwarding of display materials, (iii) Air travel assistance up to R17 000, and (iv) Daily subsistence allowance of R3 000 per day.
