Emirates SkyCargo services to Hamburg were cancelled yesterday (May 25) due to volcanic ash from the recent eruption of the Grimsvotn volcano in Iceland. All cargo booked on the cancelled flights will be routed via one of the airline’s European gateways to reach final destination without much delay.
All other flights to and from the UK and Europe continue to operate as per the schedule. Emirates continues to monitor the situation closely, in addition to liaising with the relevant authorities regarding the movement of the volcanic ash cloud.
Customers are advised to check on skycargo.com for further updates - these will be provided as soon as they are available.
