Durban strike resolved

WORKERS WERE back at their posts on Friday (July 4) after a 2-day strike at Durban’s Pier 1 container terminal brought operations to a halt, with vessels redirected to other terminals to avoid delays. The dispute revolved arround the Time & Attendance clock-in system recently introduced nationally by Transnet to improve productivity.
