Dumping Duties Amended for Frozen Chicken Pieces

On 23 August 2021, the International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (ITAC) announced an amendment to Part 1 of Schedule No.2 to the Customs and Excise Act, 1964, by the deletion as well as substitution of various Items under Item 201.02, in order to maintain the anti-dumping duties on frozen bone-in portions of the species Gallus domesticus, classifiable in tariff subheading 0207.14.9 originating in or imported from Germany, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom (UK).

The rates of anti-dumping duties are 73.33% for Germany, 22.81% for The Netherlands, and 30.99% for the UK.

The reasoning is contained in ITAC’s Report No.666.
