Companies should view
with caution data about
the large number of
projects taking place in
Africa.
“There is no meaning
in looking at the number
of projects taking place,”
said African economics
expert Dr Duncan Clark.
“There is much more
value in looking at the
volume of capital inflow
into any one market when
considering whether to
extend operations into
Africa,” he said.
“Also, when one starts
looking more closely at
the projects it becomes
clear that the vast
majority is concentrated
in a handful of countries.”
