Development worth over R10bn for African port

Guinea’s Port of Conakry.

The China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) has signed a contract with the government of Guinea, with plans for developing the Port of Conakry valued at more than R10.425 billion, reports Nigeria’s Guardian newspaper.

The project includes building three new berths and other port infrastructure including roads and parking.
