Deadly Swazi roads take their toll on haulier

James Hall SWAZILAND - A nation that suffered only 255 road deaths this past year sounds like paradise, but with a small population like Swaziland's, that translates to 2.68 road deaths per 1000 people, making the kingdom's roads statistically some of the deadliest on earth. "The trucking industry has to be aware of the incidence of pedestrian deaths and vehicle driver and passenger fatalities," a spokesman for the Swaziland Chamber of Commerce and Industry told FTW.
