On 26 August 2024, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) advised that the facility codes used in Box 30 of Goods Declaration (GD) had been updated to include the details of the newly approved container depot – Grindrod Logistics (located in Cape Town), and a new degrouping depot – Rhenus Logistics (Pty) Ltd (located in Johannesburg, ORTIA).
The updates are in “SC-CF-19-A02 – Facility Code List – External Annexure”.
