French line CMA CGM has seen its revenue soar by 89% compared to profit levels recorded a year ago.
Its latest consolidated revenue stands at $15.3 billion.
The Marseille-run line’s carrier component is said to have contributed the lion’s share to the company’s gross performance.
Due to its third quarter (Q3) performance of $5.6 billion in net profit, CMA CGM has leapfrogged competitors to the top of Q3 earnings.
It has vowed to continue on its course of leading through profit, saying Q4 results will confirm its leading position in the liner market.
