THE NEXT generation
of dedicated air
freight carriers
looks certain to
emerge from China,
where the country
is preparing to take
on international
giants Airbus, Boeing
and the Russian
manufacturers during
the next decade.
China’s first
commercial jet
aircraft, the mid-sized
ARJ-21 regional jet,
takes to the air next
year as a combined
passenger and cargo
carrier.
