China and Malaysia are negotiating a deal to co-build a third terminal at Malaysia’s major harbour, Port Klang.
Justifying this is the fact that 80% of ships sailing through the Malacca Strait are en-route to or from China, according to Beijing’s China Radio International.
Malaysia’s plans are to expand the port to a 16.3-million TEU capacity by 2020, reports Hong Kong’s Oriental Daily News.
