‘Cape Doctor’ aggravates congestion

RAY SMUTS THE DREADED Cape Doctor (south-easterly wind) pounded the Cape Peninsula mercilessly over the weekend, leading to delays of 77 hours which South African Port Operations says will take eight days to clear up - provided there are no further wind stoppages. At sun rise yesterday (January 17), ten container vessels lay at anchor in Table Bay.
