Angola back on the radar

There are plans to revive the Trans-Cunene Corridor, which runs through northern Namibia into southern Angola and as far as the capital Luanda.“It was our first corridor, and was once the busiest,” says Hippy Tjivikua, chief executive officer of the Walvis Bay Corridor Group (WBCG).A WBCG team is now identifying opportunities for freight to once again start f lowing on the corridor. “We want to understand exactly what is needed to bring all stakeholders on board to revive the corridor,” he says.
