On 22 September the South African Revenue Service (SARS) published the draft Rules under Section 49 to the Customs and Excise Act, 1964 for purposes of the Agreement Establishing the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and its Protocols, Annexes and Appendices on which comment was due by 08 October.
On 06 October SARS announced an extension of the date of comment to 30 October.
