On 02 October 205, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) published the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Agreement phase-down schedule of ordinary customs duties in Part 1 of Schedule No. 1 to the Customs and Excise Act, 1964. The 122-page schedule will come into effect on 01 January 2026.
