Accreditation of Clients Rules

On 23 July 2021, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) published a Rule amendment under Sections 60, and 64E to the Customs and Excise Act, 1964 that relates to the accreditation of clients.

The Rules contain two amended DA Forms:

  • DA 55 - CUSTOMS AND EXCISE VALUATION QUESTIONNAIRE
  • DA 186 - APPLICATION FOR ACCREDITED CLIENT STATUS UNDER SECTION 64E OF THE CUSTOMS AND EXCISE ACT, 1964
