Harbour carriers at the Port of Durban are advised to proceed with caution following reports of violent disruption outside the port perimeter.
A warning received from the Transit Assistance Bureau (Transist) says the disruption is reported to extend to roads leading into the port.
Police, the South African National Defence Force, and port security officials have all been mobilised to resolve the disruption.
Transist advised hauliers to “be careful.”
