In an innovation brought to you by the South Africa Bureau of Standards (SABS), henceforth the tariff subheading(s) (if indicated by the World Trade Organisation (WTO) member) are listed below.

The WTO Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Agreement has a transparency obligation that requires WTO member countries to publish and notify the WTO, which in turn notifies its member countries, of any draft technical regulations at least 60 days in advance of adoption.

The notifications on all draft technical regulations are for the week 15 to 21 June 2015, comment of which may be submitted to ronel.greyvenstein@sabs.co.za.

I wish to express my sincere appreciation to Ronel Greyvenstein since it’s due to her initiative that we publish this weekly article. This is the last time that Ronel will be supplying the information. I wish her well with the new challenges and opportunities that await her.
