Training goes international

P&O NEDLLOYD has added a new dimension to its in-house training programme by offering employees the opportunity to find out how business is done in other countries.
Bongiwe Nkibi (25), marketing assistant at P&O NedlloydÕs regional office in Cape Town, left for London last week to take up the position of executive assistant to the Southern African trade manager. She joins her two South African colleagues who left for London last year.
Nkibi, who has been with the company for the past two years, will now be responsible for monitoring European exports to SA and various other projects relating to the development of Southern Africa trade.
