Anna Cox EAST RAND-based In Time Logistics will expand its business to Durban from January next year. Director Theuns Jacobs said the substantial growth of the business since it started in May 2001 has necessitated the move. “Having offices in Durban close to the port will help us to assist clients with their forwarding and clearing requirements,” he said. Offices have already been secured and staff appointed. Jacobs attributes the success of the company to “the personal touch.” “We offer a full range of services from clearing and forwarding to warehousing, bonded warehousing and transport. Although we are growing Ð from one client in 2001 to over 60 today - we still offer personalised service and we want to keep it that way,” said Jacobs, who has been in the industry since 1968. In Time offers 800m2 of warehousing space on its premises in Founders View. It handles all types of cargo except perishables, specialising in the medical field.
