The Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) has advised that the Companies Tribunal in partnership with the Mandela Institute will host a seminar aimed at promoting a culture of resolving commercial disputes through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
The seminar is therefore aimed at making stakeholders and members of the public aware of the Tribunal's ADR mechanism of resolving company disputes. It will also provide advice on how to best protect commercial interests by including ADR clauses in commercial contracts.
The seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, 27 February at 08:30 for 09:00 to 15:00, at the Mandela Institute at the Wits University.
