SAFMARINE HAS opened new offices in Niger and Benin. The line’s shipping services have been available in Niger and Benin via third party agents for the past five years. “The focus of the new, dedicated Safmarine sales team will be on promoting the commercial values of the Safmarine brand in Niger and Benin,” new regional executive for Africa, Alan Jones, told FTW. Heading up the offices is Randy Jameson, regional director for Safmarine Benin, Togo and Niger. Jameson has been involved in the transportation industry since 1988 and worked in Canada and Singapore before moving to West Africa.
