Provisional Safeguard Duty on Hexagon Heads of Iron or Steel

On 13 November the South African Revenue Service (SARS) announced the imposition of a provisional payment (PP) of 31.8% in the form of a safeguard duty on other bolts with hexagon heads of iron or stainless steel (excluding bolt ends, screw studs and screw studding), classifiable in tariff subheading 7318.15.43. The reasoning is contained in the International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (ITAC) Report No.636.
