Sars on 03 November 2014 advised of the Single Registration Merging of all types of taxes of an individual taxpayer (client) under a single profile. According to Sars, since 01 November 2014, a new merging function has been available on eFiling. This function is expected to help individual taxpayers, registered representatives of entities and tax practitioners to easily merge all types of taxes - for example Income Tax and Employees’ tax as well as Customs duty and Excise duty into one single profile for each client/entity.
