Global Logistics Alliance has grown in leaps and bounds since its incorporation in 2010. GLA was the brainchild of successful freight specialists who, after years in the industry, wanted to create a familiar environment for staff and offer clients a tailored supply-chain solution.

With 20 renewable projects successfully completed, GLA has also earned its reputation as an industry leader for solar project cargo.

Global Logistics Alliance has taken yet another leap forward and will be forming part of the Integrated Service Solutions – Global Forwarding group. The rebranding has been taking place over the past year and the integration will be effective from January 2021.

ISS-GF is part of the ICD (Investment Corporation of Dubai) which is the principal investment arm of the Dubai government. The ICD consists of approximately 500 of the most prestigious companies in the world, such as Emirates airlines, The One & Only, and DP World to name a few.

The Dubai-based freight provider has strategically placed offices in over 43 countries worldwide and has taken the freight industry by storm. This network not only extends Global Logistics Alliance's competitiveness in the worldwide market, but it gives an added edge in service offerings and capabilities.

Giuseppe Arnoldi, president of Global Logistics Alliance South Africa.

The company president for South Africa, Giuseppe Arnoldi, said: “We are excited about the new opportunities and growth that this integration will bring to both our clients and staff. We are grateful to our business partners who have been part of the change and excited that they are sharing this journey with us.”
