IF YOU have experienced an increase in the number of customs stops of your imports, or if you have found that SA Revenue Service (Sars) customs are taking a number of days to resolve them, trade and customs consultants, Deloitte, would like to hear from you. Ansa du Preez of Deloitte told FTW that they were compiling a list of such issues “to gauge the extent of such difficulties”. If it is an extensive problem, the company intends to raise it at the National Customs Stakeholder Forum. Your comments can be sent to: adupreez@deloitte.co.za
