Lee Botti & Associates first opened its doors in Johannesburg in April 1977. Botti, who had previously been a teacher, had a plan: spend the mornings finding staffing solutions for companies and the afternoons at home with her young children. However, the business had other plans for her.Within two years, the company had grown to such an extent that it had become a full-time job. By 1986, a second office had opened in Cape Town, followed shortly by a third in Durban.Today, two of her daughters, Kim Botti and Jill Morris, have joined the team and hold management roles, continuing the legacy she started. They play an active role in the management of this woman-founded business. "Having grown up with recruitment in our ‘blood’, we have realised that each of us brings different strengths to the business, all while focusing on the same end goal of helping and changing people’s lives. Our differing attributes complement the business well. While working with family brings unique challenges, it also fosters a level of trust that unites us," says Morris. Jill Morris
