INCHCAPE SHIPPING Services has appointed Chris Cook to develop the new service of CMA CGM - the French Line - linking South African ports direct to and from Asia and South America. The fully containerised service will offer a weekly sailing in each direction from June 2001.
Cook has over thirty years experience in South Africa's liner business. He has extensive understanding of the Far East trade, having represented "K" Line between 1983 and 1998, latterly as line manager.
