INCREASING VOLUMES are behind the decision by Cargolux to switch from current handling agents Lufthansa to Cargo Service Centre.
The airline has relocated to the British Airways terminal, units 34 to 37
effective from March 1.
We have had a good relationship with Lufthansa, but our tonnage doubled last year and the increasing flights coming in coupled with their expansion necessitated the move, manager Terry Hawthorne told FTW.
Hawthorne is however delighted with the new state-of-the-art facilities which are now available, particularly for perishables which make up a major portion of Cargolux business.
