SA PORT Operations (Sapo) reports constant growth in vehicle exports and imports through Port Elizabeth harbour.
During September 2004, 5 280 vehicles were handled - an increase of 16% in comparison to last year the same month. October 2004 recorded 5 962 vehicles with a growth of 13% as compared to last month’s figure.
This has been attributed to the increase in local sales, which exceeded expectation.
