A FIRST-time caller to the
port of Cape Town, MSC
Catania, was expected
to be delayed at berthing
for around ten hours
last week as a fierce
south-easterly raged.
The containership
arrived off the port
in the early hours of
Monday but berthing
was put on hold until the
DAL Kalahari – one of three
vessels in the container
terminal at the time –
could set sail.
