Acsa to run Maputo airport

AIRPORTS COMPANY SA (Acsa) has been appointed to lease and manage Maputo International Airport for 15 years. “We are presently negotiating with them to complete details of the contract to be signed,” says Estevao Uamusse, director in the Mozambique transport ministry. He said Acsa had been selected ahead of African Skies, a consortium made up of companies in Mauritius and Zimbabwe, the only other company bidding.
