Roads upgrade begins on Trans Kalahari Route

THE NAMIBIA Roads Authority has started on a R310-million project to upgrade the road infrastructure along the Trans Kalahari Corridor. Work started in February 2008, and is expected to continue to April 2011. The first phase entails the widening of the first 45 kilometres of the road, and a further 32 kilometres from Okahandja towards Karibib. The NRA is a member company of the Walvis Bay Corridor Group.
