Prohibited, Restricted and Counterfeit Goods

On 20 April 2021, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) announced the amendments made, in terms of the “Prohibited and Restriction Imports and Exports List” to tariff headings 1604 and 1605, not for trade without National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS) approval, for both import and export.
