A new air cargo platform links head office airline preferences with booking searches across freight forwarders’ branch networks.
CargoMART Strategic Hub, launched by CargoAi on October 20, brings together procurement, rate and capacity allocation information for forwarders and airlines, the company said.
Its carrier prioritisation function allows head office procurement teams to select preferred airlines and set commercial priorities. These preferences are then reflected in local teams’ CargoMART search results.
Other functions compare negotiated and booked rates with market benchmarks and track how allocated cargo capacity is used. The allocation data includes booked versus flown weight, giving airlines and forwarders a shared view of capacity commitments and utilisation.
The rate benchmarking tool combines aggregated historical rates with pricing forecasts. Users can review the previous six months of rate trends and access forecasts for one, three or six months in terms of route, airport, region and shipment weight category.
For forwarders operating across several offices, the platform consolidates procurement, carrier and shipment performance information at global, regional and local levels, according to CargoAi. Operational monitoring includes shipment milestones and service performance across routes and stations.
Airlines can use search, rate, booking and customer engagement data to assess demand patterns and inform pricing and capacity planning, the company said.
The hub also connects this information with CargoAi’s tools for automating quoting, booking and shipment management.
CargoAi said the platform is available globally and no additional integration or data migration is required within existing CargoMART environments.
