Overview
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of our shipping department. You will serve as a vital cog between the shipping department and other key departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Leading a dedicated team, you will ensure the efficient transportation of recycled materials while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics Management
- Maintain accurate documentation for suppliers and customers.
- Assist with logistics costings and ensure timely processing of pricing requests.
- Validate invoices, manage disputes, and ensure timely supplier payments.
- Communication & Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with leadership, operations, customers, and suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales/Procurement) for compliance.
- Process Management
- Develop, implement, and review operational processes.
- Identify quality control issues and monitor KPIs for improvement.
Team Leadership & Support
- Lead and motivate the operations team.
- Facilitate team training and schedule regular check-ins.
Project Management
- Manage projects to ensure successful completion under deadlines.
