Global shipping company with national offices has a need for an Import Controller with a minimum of 3yrs experience in imports C&F. Suitable candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of the import process for both Sea & Air freight, including understanding the customs clearance process in terms of releases, shipping & transportation. Track & report on the status of shipments, identifying & resolving any delays or issues, manage relationships with suppliers & service providers to negotiate rates & terms for import services and work closely with internal teams, including sales, operations & finance to ensure smooth co-ordination of import activities.
