An International Freight Forwarding Company is seeking a National Air Logistics Product Development Manager to join their team
Overall responsible to manage air logistics pricing and development by providing direction to business and strategy for different product verticals.
Collaborate and engage different stakeholders to achieve air logistics goals, developing and supporting initiatives including regular campaigns for business growth. Manages air logistics opportunities with sales through pipelines and regular business forums, raising strategies to either retain or grow customer portfolio.
Develop commercial pricing strategies (liaise on pricing / RFQ preparation), in order to grow volume and maximize profit
Closely cooperate with Sales on strategic CP/GP accounts, but also with local sales opportunities.
Focus on and develop new / existing customer targets
Close cooperation and regular exchange with Trade Managers (local, regional, global) to facilitate timely request handling and to collect, consolidate and document customer feedback
Locally develop and monitor pricing strategies
Provide up-to-date vertical market information in relation to development area to all interested parties.
Review carrier choices, service frequencies, transit times, specific services to ensure that we are competitive in the market and where issues are identified, to propose new ideas, concepts, products and/or services to support the growth of the target development area.
Ensure that all elements of customer presentations are designed to highlight our capabilities and value to the customer to maximize the opportunities to close business
