My client from an International Freight Forwarder is seeking a Customs Business Development Executive to join their team
Direct selling to existing and target customers
Supports Sales in upselling existing forwarding customers
Performs market analysis for Customs Product (performs competitor, customer, and market research at country level)
Initiates development of products that meet market demand by identifying opportunities and then communicating with regional and global Business Development
Supports in solution design and implementation for customer requests
Interacts with customers, supports negotiations and presentations
Prepare and release planned sales calls. Report activities, quotes, sales calls and other information through CRM
Responsible for budgeted growth in new and additional business.
Secure/collect all necessary information to assess the creditworthiness of potential customers.
Respond to customer inquiries/complaints.
Uses networks within the various Sales channels to collaborate on customers, marketing strategies and offers a full supply chain of services to service customer needs
Collects relevant customer information for the RFI/RFP/RFQ and prepares documents for customer implementation in order to ensure proper operational handover and implementation to meet customer expectations
Good understanding of the freight forwarding industry and custom brokerage in particular
Customs brokerage license (if applicable)
Experience in Sales and business development
