The South Africa-Nigeria Business Chamber will host a “Trade in Africa Ports and Customs Update” tomorrow, 16 September.
The aim of the update, according to the invite, is to bilaterally examine how the two countries’ ports have fared during their respective Covid-19 lockdowns.
More to the point, the following burning-platform topics will be discussed: “What are some of the key export and import challenges for business currently?
““How are countries preparing for trading under the African Continental Free Trade Area from early 2021?”
Speakers at the webinar are Terry Gale, chairman of the Western Cape Exporters Club; Akinmayowa Afolarin, head of port operations at Nigerian tech and logistics company Kobo 360; as well as Clifford Evans, customs liaison manager at Berry & Donaldson Global Freight Logistics.
The webinar starts at 10am GMT South Africa (9am in Nigeria) and has no costs attached for prospective attendees.
