Air cargo management group Aero Africa has announced that it has joined forces with Seoul-based Cosmo Airfreight Consolidators.
A statement posted online by Aero Africa’s CCO for Africa, Jade da Costa, said the aim of the collaboration was to provide neutral air cargo solutions and scheduled consolidation services to the African and South Korean logistics community.
The statement adds that through this initiative Aero Africa and Cosmo Airfreight Consolidators intend to make a significant contribution to Africa and Asia’s developing trade and investment relationship.
“With the prospect of rapid growth in the African air freight market, this strategic partnership will allow both sides to provide competitive access to the African and Korean markets and will add another milestone in the Aero Africa Gateway concept.”
The concept, Da Costa explained, delivered end-to-end air cargo solutions and neutral scheduled consolidations from key markets via strategic gateways to more than 70 hard-to-reach destinations across Africa.
“Through this initiative the company will be able to offer second-to-none air cargo consolidation services to customer agents on both continents,” said Sean Ahn, director for global operations at Cosmo Airfreight Consolidators.
